5 Effective Home Made Masks for Acne Problem

Acne is a very common problem, yet many people do not know how to cure it properly, so they usually rely on buying the medicine prescribed by the doctor. But one of the greatest ways to cure acne is to make facial masks at home and apply them. It is better than the masks you buy at the stores as they may contain chemicals but the homemade masks are organic, cheap, and the ingredients are readily available and are the most effective. Here are some of the best facial masks that you can prepare at home and treat your acne problems successfully.

1. Salt Mask
Salt is an effective natural cleanser. It largely helps in reducing the oil of your skin. The oily skin forms the base for acne. All you need to prepare this mask is salt and water. Sea salt will do wonder, but even cooking salt will work. Mix the salt in water and make a uniform paste. Apply this paste on the acne spots and leave it on for 10-20 minutes. Wash your face off with clean water after that. Witness how salt cleans and dries acne spots.

2. Yogurt mask
This is another easy-to-make facial mask. Take a spoon of honey and heat it up to make it softer. Now add a spoon of yogurt and mix them into a paste. Now apply the paste on your skin after you clean your skin nicely. Leave the paste for 10-20 minutes and wash it off with a washcloth. You can add another spoon of pre-heated honey if you have a dry skin. This mask brings immediate changes on your skin – it works like a wonder.

3. Egg white mask
This mask only involves the white part of the egg and not the yellow part. So, you need to carefully separate the egg white out in a bowl and whip it until you get a dense form. Now clean your face with a cleanser and apply this egg white mask all over your face and wait for at least 15 minutes. Then, use lukewarm water to wash off the mask. If you have oily skin, it is recommended to add some lemon juice to achieve a better result. However, avoid using this recipe if you are allergic to eggs.

4. Oatmeal Mask
You can make two types of facial masks using oatmeal. The first one is to make a paste of oatmeal and water, clean your face using a cleanser, apply it on your face, leave the mask for 20 or 30 minutes, and wash it off with warm water. This will leave your skin smooth and soft and will reduce your acne. Another method is a little complicated but works significantly on removing your pimples. Just peel one medium-sized onion and make a smooth puree of it. Cook half cup of plain oatmeal and when it cools down, add the onion puree. Apply this mask to your face and gently wash away your face after 15 minutes. This might be a little smelly but the good it would do to you is more important.

5. Baking Soda Mask
Baking soda is another effective ingredient, but it does not work in all types of skin – you have to prepare this facial mask at home and try it out. For this particular mask recipe, you need to mix baking soda in water, clean your face with a cleanser and apply the mask on your face, leave it for 5-10 minutes, wash your face and witness the miracle. Your face will be extremely soft and you can say goodbye to your pimples.

Every skin is different, choose the best masks from the ones mentioned above. It is not wise to use just once and after witnessing the significant acne reduction, if you do not use it regularly – this will hinder the complete treatment process.

Wan Tan Mee @Sungai Besi

Wan Tan Mee Sg Besi is one of the places I used to come after finish clubbing back in my college days. It had been donkey years since I last visited here. Also, it was after a not so exciting fine dine dinner, everyone decided to go for supper and suggested this place. One of the location quite center for all my friends before heading back. Some call this place Wan Tan Mee Sg Besi or Wan Tan Mee Sungai Besi is still one of the well-known supper places to date as the stall is still packed with people. There are  few  items which are the stall signature such as Wild Boar Curry Wan Tan Mee, chicken feet Wan Tan Mee or you can opt  it as a side dish.  The wan tan mee sauce here is on the sweet aftertaste which is quite different from Penang which is the salty version. Hence if you are not used to the taste of it, you might find it a bit weird. Still love the noodle here as it is still springy as it was and the chicken feet are still as good as it used to be.
